Queen Sandra Anthony Visits Optimal Health Care Center Where She Had Her Lecture On Her Pet Project (See Photos)

 

Miss Curvy Nigeria 2015 Winner ”Sandra Anthony” have started her journey/work as a queen by visiting the Optimal health care center for a 3hrs lectures which started on the 18th of Dec 2015.

As part of her pet project as a queen, she had nice time with the doctors and she was opportune to grant the sponsorship of the optimal health care for a free screening centre for all women… and during the lecture, And her first meeting with the doctors, she has come to know that there is a vaccine to prevent cervical cancer.

Kogi APC members insist on Audu/Faleke ticket

Some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Kogi East and Kogi West senatorial districts said on Saturday that they would not shift grounds on Audu/Faleke ticket.
The party leaders from Kogi East after a crucial meeting at Ayangba rejected the decision of the party’s national working committee to nominate Alhaji Yahaya Bello as a replacement for the late Alhaji Abubakar Audu.
Prof. Isah Daniel, Vice-Chairman of the party in the zone, told newsmen at the end of the meeting that the Audu/Faleke ticket “won the Nov. 21 governorship election with or without the result of the supplementary election.

North to begin oil exploration next year

The New Nigeria Development Company (NNDC), a business conglomerate of the 19 northern state governments, has disclosed plans to commence exploration of oil and gas in the Lake Chad area of North-East.
“Oil and gas blocks have been discovered in the North. But for security challenges in the North-East, exploration would have gone far,” the company said in a media briefing after its annual general meeting in Kaduna yesterday.
The Board of Directors’ Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Mohammed Dalhatu, who addressed journalists, expressed regrets that the insecurity in the North-East had affected the take off of the exploration.
“But we have since re-engaged our people to be totally committed to the oil exploration and exploitation of both oil and gas resources. We believe that will spring boot revival of economy in the region,” he said.
Asked when the exploration will commence, the NNDC’s board chairman said: “We are commencing the exploration within the year 2016. We are already talking with technical partners that would help us explore the resources.”

Fuel scarcity to end soon, says NUPENG

The National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) is optimistic that the current scarcity of petrol will  soon come to an end.
Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, the South-West Chairman of the union, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos yesterday that massive loading of petroleum products  is ongoing in different depots in Lagos and other parts of the country.
Finance  Minister  Kemi Adeosun said on December  9 that  N407.07 billion fuel subsidy had been paid  to oil marketers.
“There is massive loading of petroleum products in different depots throughout the country, and our petroleum tanker drivers are ready to go extra mile to deliver the product to designated filling stations,” Korodo said.

I Cannot Forgive OBJ, Tinubu – Bode George Fumes

A former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Olabode George has expressed confidence that the party will sack the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 general election.
Chief Bode George has expressed confidence that the PDP will bounce back in 2019.
n order to achieve this, Chief Olabode George implored his party members to close ranks, and stop trading blames over the party’s loss in the 2015 presidential election and prepare for what lies ahead.
In a no-holds-barred interview with Saturday Sun, the PDP chieftain said he cannot forgive former president Olusegun Obasanjo, as well as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his prison ordeals.
He however informed that he remains optimistic that the party will bounce back in 2019, adding also that Lagos is one of the states the PDP hopes to win in coming election.
